 | The problem lMarko, is several fold but mainly: the end of the labor shortage that existed between 1830-1970, which ended due to technological innovations which reduced need for workers, the offshoring of manufacturing to save the corporate capitalists money, and women entering the workforce in significant numbers. Capitalists no longer had to increase wages. There was more potential workers than job openings. No more labor shortage. |  |
